Emmerdale’s Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi (Character - Leyla Harding) was with us in VTRNorths Leeds based ISDN studio today (12 May 2010) to show off her vocal talents, and we couldn’t resist getting the camera out.

VTR North Appoint New Business Manager

VTRNorth pleased to announce Olivia Scott as their New Business Manager.

VTR North appointed Miss Scott to head up the marketing side of their business. Her strong background in marketing and sales will stand VTR North in good stead for further development.

Miss Scott commented: "I am extremely happy to be here to encourage growth of the existing customer base and to connect with new clients. VTR North have a very bright future, and I am thrilled to be able to contribute to that."
This year VTR North are celebrating their five-year anniversary. The business offers a collaborative approach to digital editing after effects, 3D animation, motion graphics, radio commercial production and sound design including voiceovers, music videos and commercial editing.

Their work includes; award winning short films, Roses award winning Radio work, music videos for the likes of James Morrison and commercials for DFS and Channel 4.

Smokey Business

VTR North have invested in two of Autodesk’s latest Smoke Advanced Systems; this compliments are existing HD and Stereoscopic workflow.

The order was placed at NAB in Las Vegas in April this year and is expected to be fully commissioned by the middle of May. The purchase was made due to the increased demand for HD and 3D Stereoscopic projects. “XTFX are proud of our association with VTR North over the past five year. The acquisition of TWO Smoke Advanced Systems will be a great addition to their facility and we are sure will be a major contribution to their continued success in the future.” Jim Totman.
