Saturday 12th June 2010, saw VTR North undertake the task of editing, grading, sound design and mix, for Carling's pre England World Cup match commercial on ITV that very evening. The cast of thousands descended on Leeds' premier post production facility to prepare to deliver 100 Carling Home Draught Crates to the lucky winners of the competition announced on Friday 11th June.
Beattie McGuinness Bungay and Big Balls Productions knew who their mates were and called VTR North with their brief for this World Cup project.
They brought to Leeds, along with the Carling "Mates" in full Eastern attire; Clearcast who were in our edit suites to approve the commercial as it was being cut and two camels to deliver the beer to Yorkshire's lucky winners!
